Just today, I received inspiration for an idea for a short film by listening to a song.
Inspiration can come from an event in your own life
I often even get them from a dream
...I really am having a writers block right now, but I'm going to keep trying.
I generally do hear a song, and a complete scene just runs through my head, or a concept.
A lot of times with my friends, we'll just talk out a whole scenario and say that it would make a good mOvie.
I'll start to tell a story off of one little thing I see, like a guy riding a bike and the detailes based on "what ifs" just fall into place.
My own girlfriend tells me that when I start to tell a bogus made up story that theyll be so detailed.
Inspiration can come by you being in class bored and you start to doodle in your notebook.
Certain lighting in a room can draw inspiration from mood, or walking down a dark street and seeing a creepy flashing street light.
